Built for the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus discovery of the Americas. It was built in the shape of a cross with its corridors pointing towards the four cardinal directions. It’s a memorial and a museum featuring the Christopher Columbus mausoleum where his remains are said to be entombed.
