Born Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Martinez, June 5, 1929—son of Dominican dictator Generalissimo Rafael Leonidas Molina Trujillo. It is said that Trujillo made Ramfis a full Colonel with corresponding pay and authority at age 14. As an adult, Ramfis became a socialite and world-class playboy under the tutelage of his brother in-law Porfirio Rubirosa who introduced him to the likes of Zsa Zsa Gabor, Kim Novak, Natalie Wood, Shirley Maclaine, and others. He died in 1969 at age 40 from injuries received in a car crash, a few miles outside Madrid, Spain.
